Phi Phi Zeta welcomed more than 50 visitors during the 2006 Michigan Tech Family Weekend on October 14, 2006. The house was in great shape for visitors, and several prospective associates brought their families to show off the new house. Thanks to Trevor Crawford, ΦΦ 367 for the photos!

House Dedication was held on Saturday, August 5, 2006. Michigan Tech President Glenn Mroz and his wife honored Lambda Chi Alpha by stopping by and touring our new home. They were both very impressed with the house, even with all of the construction still to do.
Special thanks to Ken Thorp, ΦΦ 41, for the photos!

Deacon Thom Hawley honored Phi Phi Zeta and Lambda Chi Alpha by giving the Invocation at our Dedication Ceremony. The following is the text of the Invocation given by Deacon Hawley:
Through the ages, God has moved his people to gather in homes where we prepare and encourage men of good character, high ethics and noble ideals to contribute positively to the world we live in.
In gratitude for this historic building, we are now gathered to dedicate and consecrate it to the principles of Lambda Chi Alpha.
We dedicate this house as a symbol of collegial living, a place of fraternal development through leadership, scholarship, community service and positive social experiences so that every man who dwells here may be a man.
We dedicate this house as a place where its members may grow and learn. May it serve as a place for rest, shelter and laughter.
Because this house was made possible through the generosity of many people, we give thanks for the investors, the donors of labor and materials, and the gifts of money.
In thanksgiving for Your guidance and wisdom in this project and all our projects, we dedicate this house.
Comfort and heal those who suffer on this day in body, mind or spirit, remembering especially Dr. Myron Berry.
We commend to your mercy those brothers of the Phi Phi Zeta chapter who have died; remembering especially Kirk Bouckaert, Brent Greenwood, Scott McClure, and Jim Springborn.
Finally, may all who live here find peace and pleasure; make them thankful for their daily bread as they dine in your grace and watch over all who sleep here that they may find refreshment and renewal.
Lord God, all times are your seasons and all occasions invite Your mercy. Accept our intercessions offered at this home today and in the days that are to come.
AMEN.
We are sad to report the passing of our brother, friend, and mentor Myron G. "Doc" Berry, Ph.D., Alpha Rho 268. Doc was initiated into Lambda Chi Alpha at Colby College in Maine on March 10, 1937. Doc taught freshman chemistry to generations of Tech students, finally retiring in the spring of 1984. After the establishment of what became Phi Phi Zeta in 1979, Doc frequently walked around campus in "sheen green" Lambda Chi Alpha jacket, proudly displaying his membership in our fraternity and letting everyone know that despite the difference in our ages and stations in life, we were always brothers. Despite his retirement, Doc stayed involved with the fraternity, and touched every one of us in ways that we are continually discovering. His wisdom and guidance will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace, Doc.
